Creatara Mobility inaugurates first Lifestyle e2W manufacturing plant in Faridabad

Creatara Mobility has inaugurated its first manufacturing plant in Faridabad with an annual capacity of 30,000 units. The facility will produce the IN40 and VM4 electric two-wheelers for domestic and export markets.

Creatara Mobility, an Indian lifestyle electric two-wheeler (e2W) manufacturer, has inaugurated its first manufacturing facility in Faridabad, Haryana. The new plant has an installed annual production capacity of 30,000 units.

The facility marks a significant step in Creatara Mobility’s journey from product development and research to large-scale manufacturing. The company said the new plant will support its efforts to develop innovative, sustainable and personalised electric mobility solutions while enabling it to scale production.

Speaking at the inauguration, Vikas Gupta, Founder & CEO, Creatara Mobility, said the company’s journey has been driven by product development and validation before moving towards industrial-scale production.

“Creatara’s journey has never been about factories first, but about a vision realised step by step. It began with an idea, evolved into a product, proved its potential, and achieved certification. Now, that vision is being industrialised and scaled. The path has been deliberate: Build → Validate → Certify → Industrialise → Scale — each stage strengthening the next,” said Gupta.

The new manufacturing facility is built on a principle to develop a repeatable, reliable, scalable manufacturing system that is equipped to meet the pace of market growth. It is strategically located in Delhi‑NCR, and will produce its flagship models IN40 and VM4 — crossover, intelligent electric two‑wheelers designed for young riders who value individuality, personalization, and style.

Creatara, governed by a judicious and disciplined capital deployment strategy, is carving out a new category in India’s EV market by blending lifestyle with mobility. With bold and globally aligned styling, advanced engineering, and extensive customization options, the company aims to build a cult following among college goers and young professionals, positioning its products as lifestyle statements as much as mobility solutions.

“We have built Creatara with disciplined capital. Our focus has never been to spend our way into scale. It has been to create capability at every stage — technology, product, certification, supply chain and now manufacturing. We believe there is tremendous opportunity for companies that can combine ambition with capital discipline, and that is the model we want to build at Creatara,” said Ringlarei Pamei, Co‑Founder, Creatara Mobility.

Creatara adopts the Japanese 5S philosophy — Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain — not just as a factory practice, but as a mindset. The same discipline that shaped the vehicle now drives its manufacturing. As the production commences, the company prioritises consistency, quality, process discipline, standardisation, continuous improvement, and scalable manufacturing.

The Company has progressively accomplished capabilities across powertrain, battery, electronics, electrical systems, tooling, manufacturing, connected technology, components, testing, and industrialisation.

The IN40 and VM4 manufactured at the Faridabad facility will cater to both domestic and export markets, aligning with made in India made for the world strategy.

The vehicles were first showcased in January 2025 and are developed on Creatara’s proprietary platform. They feature an AI‑ready Vehicle Control Unit and portable, swappable battery packs, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation and adaptability.
