Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the Mercedes-Maybach S 580e, the first electrified Mercedes-Maybach model in the country, combining the brand’s signature luxury and craftsmanship with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The model will be available in India in 30 exclusive units.
The Mercedes-Maybach S 580e combines a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor and 4MATIC all-wheel drive, producing a combined 585 hp and 750 Nm. Power is delivered through a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission.

First-Class Rear Cabin
The India-spec Mercedes-Maybach S 580e is offered exclusively with a four-seat First-Class rear configuration. It features individual Executive rear seats, a full-length Business Centre Console, wireless charging and temperature-controlled cup holders.
The Rear Comfort Package Plus adds climatised seats, adaptive ambient lighting, rear MBUX controls and additional comfort and safety features.
The cabin is further enhanced by a Burmester High-End 4D Surround Sound System with 31 speakers, eight exciters and 1,610 watts of output.
98 km Electric Range
The Mercedes-Maybach S 580e offers a WLTP-certified electric range of up to 98 km, with the company indicating that real-world driving range can approach 100 km. The vehicle can travel at up to 140 km/h in electric mode.
The PHEV can be charged at up to 11 kW through AC and 60 kW through DC fast charging. Mercedes-Benz will also provide a complimentary home charging solution with every S 580e.
Advanced Technology and Safety
The Maybach S 580e comes equipped with MB.OS, cloud-based AIRMATIC air suspension and rear-axle steering of up to 10 degrees. The model also features DIGITAL LIGHT with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus and MB.DRIVE ASSIST.
Safety equipment includes 15 airbags, PRE-SAFE systems and GUARD 360° Vehicle Protection Plus.
Exterior highlights include an illuminated Maybach grille, Maybach logo projection and illuminated door sills.
MANUFAKTUR Luxury
Inside, the S 580e features MANUFAKTUR craftsmanship, including Maybach Exclusive Nappa leather in a Crystal White and Silver Grey Pearl combination, piano lacquer trim, a handcrafted Nappa leather roof liner and finished seat backrests.
Other bespoke touches include a wood-and-leather multifunction steering wheel, designer belt buckles, deep-pile floor mats and a high-gloss white vehicle key with rose-gold detailing.
