Renault India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Renault Group, has announced an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 29 km/litre for the new Renault Duster strong hybrid E-Tech 160, ahead of its official market debut in India.
Bookings open on October 9, 2026, for INR 21,000 through the official Renault India website and authorised dealerships.
Strong Hybrid Powertrain Combines Performance and Efficiency
The new Duster E-Tech 160 features a 1.8-litre petrol engine, two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery, delivering a combined output of 160 PS. Its intelligent multi-mode transmission automatically manages power delivery according to driving conditions, enabling electric driving under suitable conditions and recovering energy during braking and deceleration.
The battery charges while driving and does not require an external charging source, offering customers a combination of performance, fuel efficiency and convenience.
