Royal Enfield has introduced the new Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in India at ₹2,10,684 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Inspired by the heritage and traditions of the Gorkha Regiment, the special edition gets a distinctive Gorkha Green colour scheme and a bespoke insignia featuring the iconic crossed Khukris.
Bookings for the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition opened on August 18. The motorcycle retains the Classic 350’s signature upright riding posture and J-series engine, while adding convenience features such as an Assist & Slipper clutch and a Type-C USB fast-charging port.
Inspired by Gorkha Regiment Heritage
The new Classic 350 Gorkha Edition has been designed as a tribute to the legacy of the Gorkha Regiment and its values of courage, loyalty, discipline and honour.
Commenting on the launch, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer, Royal Enfield, said the edition pays tribute to the military legacy of the Gorkha Regiment and its traditions of bravery and honour.
Lieutenant General Sanjeev Chauhan, AVSM, YSM, President, Gorkha Brigade, said the motorcycle recognises the values associated with the Gorkha Regiment, including courage, discipline and honour.
Gorkha-Themed Motorcycle Collection
Alongside the motorcycle, Royal Enfield has introduced a collection of lifestyle products inspired by the same military heritage. The collection includes dual-certified Jet and Quest helmets, high-ankle distressed leather boots, multifunctional headgear, lifestyle apparel and collectibles.
The products feature a colour palette of regimental crimson, tactical olive green, matte black and warm bronze. Design details draw inspiration from military uniforms, regimental insignia and the crossed Khukris.
Classic 350 With Added Features
The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition retains the motorcycle’s established design and riding characteristics, including its upright riding posture and J-series engine. The addition of an Assist & Slipper clutch is aimed at enhancing the riding experience, while the Type-C USB fast-charging port adds greater convenience for riders.
Positioned as a heritage-focused special edition, the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition combines Royal Enfield’s familiar retro motorcycle design with styling elements inspired by the Gorkha Regiment.
