Steelbird Helmets has introduced the SBH-64 ZIP RF, a new half-face helmet designed with urban commuters in mind. Combining utility, comfort, and safety, the helmet features a rear aerodynamic spoiler for a sleek look and an extended polycarbonate visor that offers wider facial coverage without compromising airflow—ideal for daily city riding.
To improve rider comfort, the helmet includes a neck pad, and interiors made from multipored, breathable, and washable materials sourced from Italy. It also incorporates a quick-release buckle system for easier handling during routine commutes and a rear reflector to help enhance rider visibility in low-light conditions.
Speaking on the launch, Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director of Steelbird Helmets, said the company remains focused on improving rider safety while addressing design and comfort aspects in its offerings.
Certified under BIS (IS 4151:2015) standards, the SBH-64 ZIP RF is built with a high-impact ABS shell and a multi-layer EPS core to aid in impact absorption. The helmet is available in more than ten color options and comes in sizes M (580mm), L (600mm), and XL (620mm). Priced from ₹999, the new helmet is positioned as an affordable option for riders looking for essential protection with user-friendly features.
