TVS Motor Company has launched the TVS Armado 200, a new cargo three-wheeler tailored for Indonesia’s expanding commercial transport and logistics sector. Initially showcased earlier this year through a digital reveal, the Armado 200 is powered by a 197.75 cc oil-cooled spark-ignition engine and is built to handle long operating hours and high-intensity commercial usage.
The vehicle features a 2-metre cargo bed and offers a payload capacity of up to 840 kg, positioning it among the highest-capacity cargo three-wheelers in its segment. The TVS Armado 200 is available in Blue, Red, and White colour options.
TVS Motor has priced the Armado 200 at IDR 35.9 million, with an introductory price of IDR 34.9 million (OTR Jakarta) available during the launch period. The company will also offer flexible financing options to support customers across various business segments.
Commenting on the launch, Peyman Kargar, President – International Business, TVS Motor Company, said the commercial cargo three-wheeler market continues to show strong and sustainable growth potential. He noted that the Armado 200 represents a significant opportunity not only in Indonesia but also for future export markets.
Kargar further added that the Armado 200 is a locally developed product, designed and assembled at the TVS Karawang plant, underscoring the company’s commitment to local engineering capabilities and long-term investment in the segment.
TVS Motor also stated that the vehicle will support Indonesia’s national development priorities, including the AGRINAS and Merah Putih Co-operatives initiative, where Armado vehicles will help improve productivity in suburban and rural regions.
Key features of the Armado 200 include leaf-spring suspension with dampers, ergonomic seating with a padded backrest, and a USB charging port for operators. TVS is also offering an engine warranty of three years or 30,000 km, further enhancing its appeal for commercial users.
