Mumbai, September 1, 2026: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) recorded 27,595 tractor sales in the domestic market in August 2026, registering a 5% year-on-year growth compared with 26,201 units sold in the same month last year.
Including exports, Mahindra’s total tractor sales stood at 29,507 units in August 2026, compared with 28,117 units in August 2025. The company exported 1,912 tractors during the month.
Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “We sold 27,595 tractors in the domestic market during August 2026, a growth of 5% over last year. Steady improvement in rainfall has helped near-normal Kharif sowing. Continued support of various government schemes and the upcoming festive season should bolster rural sentiment. In the exports market, we have sold 1,912 tractors.”

Mahindra’s cumulative domestic tractor sales for the financial year through August 2026 stood at 2,12,664 units, up 17% from 1,82,390 units during the corresponding period last year.
Exports during the same period increased 9% to 9,304 units, compared with 8,524 units in the previous year. Total cumulative tractor sales, including domestic sales and exports, reached 2,21,968 units, representing a 16% year-on-year increase from 1,90,914 units.

Mahindra said improving rainfall and near-normal Kharif sowing, along with continued government support and the upcoming festive season, are expected to support rural sentiment and tractor demand in the coming months.
