Tata Motors on August 28 presented a Nexon EV to the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) as part of its tender agreement with EESL.
The EV was handed over by Maharashtra Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mr Aditya Thackeray, at an event held in Mumbai. Mr Sanjay Bansode, another Cabinet minister from the state, Mr Iqbal Singh Chahal, Commissioner, MCGM, and other Government dignitaries were also present during the handing-over ceremony.
With the initiation of the Maharashtra EV policy, the state is all set to begin a green revolution and Tata Motors is excited to be a part of this journey, said a company press release.
