EMO Energy has announced its entry into the heavy commercial electric vehicle (HCV) segment with the launch of an advanced intelligent battery platform designed for electric buses, trucks, and high-utilization commercial fleets.
The new platform integrates battery systems, charging technology, thermal management, and AI-driven battery intelligence into a unified solution aimed at improving operational efficiency and reliability for commercial EV operators. It has been developed to address key industry challenges such as charging delays, vehicle downtime, battery degradation, and thermal management issues that can impact fleet productivity.
Supporting high-voltage architectures of up to 800V, the platform is compatible with both Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) and Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery chemistries. According to EMO Energy, the system enables ultra-fast charging capabilities, allowing batteries to be charged in less than 30 minutes while maintaining high levels of performance and safety.
Key features include a modular battery architecture, immersion-cooling thermal management technology, intelligent battery management systems (BMS), cell-level health monitoring, predictive diagnostics, and advanced safety mechanisms. Together, these technologies are designed to maximize uptime, enhance battery longevity, and optimize fleet operations.
The platform is intended for a broad range of commercial mobility applications, including electric buses, heavy-duty trucks, logistics and delivery fleets, as well as construction and industrial vehicles.
EMO Energy said its latest solution shifts the focus from battery capacity alone to battery intelligence, enabling fleet operators to improve vehicle utilization, reduce maintenance-related downtime, and lower total cost of ownership. The platform also incorporates support for second-life battery applications, contributing to greater sustainability throughout the battery lifecycle.
The launch builds on the company’s existing expertise in commercial EV energy solutions, including battery systems, charging infrastructure, thermal management technologies, and AI-powered battery analytics.
“The future of commercial EVs will be defined not just by battery capacity, but by battery intelligence. At EMO Energy, we’re building intelligent battery systems that help commercial fleets achieve higher uptime, faster charging, and long-term reliability at scale,” said Sheetanshu Tyagi, Founder and CEO of EMO Energy.
With the introduction of this platform, EMO Energy aims to support the next phase of commercial vehicle electrification by delivering smarter, faster, and more reliable energy solutions tailored to the demanding requirements of heavy-duty fleet operations.
