JSW MG Motor India has marked a significant milestone by delivering 201 electric vehicles (EVs) in a single day in Bangalore. This achievement highlights the company’s commitment to promoting the adoption of electric vehicles in India. The delivery included the MG Windsor – India’s First Intelligent CUV, the MG ZS EV – India’s first Pure Electric Internet SUV, and the MG Comet – The Street-Smart Car. In addition to this, Bengaluru Airport Taxi has gone green by deploying 75 ZS EVs through Refex Green Mobility. This surge in consumer demand reflects the growing market enthusiasm for the company’s electric vehicles.
To further encourage EV adoption, JSW MG Motor India has introduced an innovative EV ownership plan through its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) offering. This flexible program eliminates the upfront cost of the battery, allowing customers to pay only for its usage. Under the BaaS plan, the MG Comet EV is priced from ₹4.99 Lakh + battery rental at ₹2.5/km, the Windsor starts at ₹9.99 Lakh + battery rental at ₹3.5/km, and the MG ZS EV is available for ₹13.99 Lakh + battery rental at ₹4.5/km.
MG Comet – The Street-Smart Car is Big Inside and Compact Outside (BICO) offers 55+ connected features and i-SMART technology. Its agile and practical design along with a small turning radius enhances manoeuvrability in tight parking spaces and makes city driving convenient.
The MG Windsor recently reached a milestone by becoming the first passenger EV in India to garner 15,176 bookings within 24 hours of booking announcement and, in addition, became the most selling EV in the first month of its launch. MG Windsor combines the comfort of a sedan and the expanse of an SUV and is offered with an innovative aerodynamic design, spacious and opulent interiors, reassuring safety, smart connectivity and range of 332km.
The MG ZS EV comes with premium features, spacious interiors, i-SMART technology, and over 75 connected car features. It offers a range of 461 km which is suitable for long distance family drives.
