Golden Peacock Awards, instituted by the Institute of Directors (IOD), India, in 1991, are now regarded as a benchmark of Corporate Excellence worldwide. The award has a transparent evaluation process, follows a 3-tier structure and adheres to internationally recognized criteria.
This year’s jury for the award was headed by Hon’ble Justice M. N. Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India, as the chairman, along with other honourable members from diverse backgrounds and expertise. Sona Comstar received the award during the ‘2023 London Global Convention on Corporate Governance & Sustainability’ organized by IOD. The convention’s theme was “Board’s Tryst with ESG and Making Corporate Governance Work in the New World Economy”.
