
VIDA, powered by Hero, has expanded its electric scooter portfolio with the launch of the new VIDA VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh, a long-range variant designed to further its vision of ‘GHAR GHAR EVOOTER’ by making electric mobility more accessible across India. The latest addition strengthens the VX2 lineup, giving customers four distinct variants to suit a wide range of riding needs and lifestyles.
The newly introduced VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh also marks a significant achievement for the brand by earning a place in the Asia Book of Records for completing the Longest Journey by an Electric Scooter. The record was established during a historic cross-country expedition, highlighting the scooter’s exceptional range, endurance, and real-world performance.
With the launch of the VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh, VIDA continues to reinforce its commitment to delivering reliable, long-range electric mobility solutions while expanding consumer confidence in EV technology across the country.
The VIDA EVOOTER VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh priced at INR 1,43,990 features a total battery capacity of 4.4 kWh via dual 2.2 kWh removable units, achieving an IDC-certified range of 187 km. This variant comes with a 1 kW portable charger capable of charging 0% to 80% in 3 hours and 30 minutes. For riders on the move, it also supports high-speed DC fast charging, replenishing the battery from 0% to 80% in 65 minutes.
Additionally, with VIDA’s extensive network of over 6,000 fast charging stations and 700+ service touchpoints, riders are guaranteed accessible and reliable support wherever the road takes them. Engineered for both urban agility and long-haul reliability, the VIDA VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh delivers a dynamic yet versatile riding experience.
The VIDA EVOOTER VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh hits a top speed of 90 km/h – backed by a 6 kW peak power and 26 Nm torque – and features three distinct riding modes – Eco, Ride and Sports with a Boost feature to aid in overtaking. This performance is matched by cutting-edge technology, including a 4.3-inch TFT display, smartphone integration, turn-by-turn navigation, and OTA updates. The VIDA EVOOTER VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh emphasizes rider utility with 27.2 litres of under-seat storage, and a CBS braking system specifically tuned to handle Indian road conditions.

VIDA has officially secured its place in the Asia Book of Records for the “Longest Journey by an Electric Scooter” after completing an extraordinary 12,111 km journey. Partnering with Girish Shet – a passionate rider and a Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) fan, this historic 52-day continuous ride began in Bengaluru and culminated in Delhi, tracing a route through all KKR match host cities. The expedition successfully validated the reliability of the new VIDA EVOOTER VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh variant, demonstrating unmatched endurance and seamless ease of charging during an extended road trip.
Additionally, VIDA is also offering Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plans to ensure that electric mobility remains flexible and affordable for all. The VIDA VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh will be available across authorized dealerships nationwide by end of July 2026.
