Audi TT Roadster Final Edition unveiled in US

This limited edition vehicle, available exclusively in the United States, pays homage to the original Audi TT design and features unique design elements that set it apart from other Roadster models

Audi of America is commemorating three generations of iconic design with the release of the 2023 Audi TT Roadster Final Edition. This limited-edition vehicle, available exclusively in the United States, pays homage to the original Audi TT design and features unique design elements that set it apart from other Roadster models.

The Audi TT Roadster Final Edition is currently available for purchase in the United States, with a starting price of USD 67,800 plus USD1,095 destination charge. Only 50 units will be produced, making this limited-edition vehicle a true collector’s item for Audi enthusiasts, the company said.

The TT Roadster Final Edition boasts a striking Audi exclusive Goodwood Green pearl effect paint, a color previously offered only in the first-generation TT Roadster. The exterior is further enhanced with platinum gray matte bumper trim and side trim elements integrated with the S line exterior, providing a touch of exclusivity. Adding to its allure is a gray convertible top, a feature previously seen on the 2019 TT Roadster 20th Anniversary edition. The top can be raised or lowered in just 10 seconds while the vehicle is in motion, at speeds of up to 31 mph.

Inside, the TT Final edition is finished in Palomino Brown leather, which nods to the first generation’s iconic baseball stitch leather. When paired with the Audi exclusive Goodwood Green exterior, it creates a timeless combination and is a tribute to the first-generation TT Roadster. Furthermore, the TT Final edition comes standard with an extended leather package, which finishes the door armrests and center console in the same Palomino Brown leather and stitching, as well as black leather covering the airbag cap and instrument cluster hood. Audi exclusive Palomino Brown stitching was added to the steering wheel and gear selector boot, and the floor mats are trimmed with Palomino Brown leather piping and stitching to complete the look of the interior.

The TT Roadster’s S sport seats are also equipped with neck-level heating to keep you warm on chilly days with the top down and include built-in seatbelt microphones for optimizing Bluetooth and voice recognition operation. Finally, Carbon fiber inlays adorn the interior surfaces, underlining the sporty character of the TT Roadster Final edition.

Performance-wise, the TT Roadster Final Edition comes equipped with 20×9-inch 10-Y-spoke design forged wheels and Audi magnetic ride suspension system, borrowed from the sporty TTS model. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine delivers 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. The TT Roadster can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.5 seconds.

The Audi TT Roadster Final Edition is a fitting tribute to the legendary Tourist Trophy (TT) race on the Isle of Man, where Auto Union brands NSU and DKW achieved great success with their motorcycles. The TT name was later used by NSU to commemorate their race championship on the TT Prinz sporty small car. When Audi introduced the TT Coupe in 1998, it challenged traditional Audi design conventions with its Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic and unique name.

As a technology leader for the brand, the TT model line introduced several groundbreaking features over the years, including the electronically deployable rear spoiler, Audi virtual cockpit, and OLED taillights. Sadly, the Audi TT will cease production after the 2023 model, marking the end of an era for the brand.
