Cummins India Limited has appointed Gbile Adewunmi as Managing Director and India Regional Leader, effective November 1, 2026. The company announced the appointment on Thursday. Adewunmi will assume the additional responsibilities while continuing in his existing role as leader of Industrial Markets within Power Systems.
Adewunmi currently serves as Vice President, Power Systems Industrial Markets at Cummins. In this role, he oversees the deployment of power solutions across industrial sectors, including mining technologies and hybrid-electric retrofit applications.
Commenting on his appointment, Adewunmi said he was honoured to take on the expanded role and work with teams across Cummins India Limited, the India region and Industrial Markets.
Jenny Bush, President of Power Systems at Cummins, said Adewunmi’s broad business perspective, ability to build high-performing teams and commitment to customers made him well suited to lead Cummins India Limited and the India region while continuing to advance the company’s Industrial Markets strategy.
