TVS Motor Company (TVSM), a leading two- and three-wheeler manufacturer, has appointed Gaurav Gupta as President of its India two-wheeler (2W) business. Based in Bengaluru, he will report to K N Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO of TVS Motor Company.
“Gaurav brings extensive experience and expertise that will add significant value to the company. TVS Motor has been on a strong growth trajectory, consistently delivering results ahead of the industry,” said K N Radhakrishnan.
In his new role, Gupta will oversee the company’s India 2W operations, spanning both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) segments. With over three decades of experience, he has worked across multiple geographies, including India, China, Dubai, Indonesia, Vietnam, and ASEAN markets.
At JSW MG Motor, Gupta played a key role in shaping the brand’s strategy in India. He spearheaded the establishment of ‘MG Select,’ the company’s premium car division, and served as Chief Growth Officer since MG’s entry into the Indian market in 2018.
Before joining MG Motor India, Gaurav Gupta served as Managing Director of Bridgestone Indonesia until September 2018. He also held key leadership roles at General Motors India, including Head of Sales and Marketing, and worked in various senior positions across General Motors’ global operations.
An automotive industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Gupta brings deep expertise in sales and marketing across both domestic and international markets. At TVS Motor Company, he will leverage this experience to drive growth in the company’s diverse two-wheeler portfolio, the most extensive in India.
His insights into the electric vehicle segment could also be instrumental as TVS Motor expands its footprint in India’s evolving two-wheeler market.
