Maruti Suzuki, the leading automobile manufacturer in India, has made changes in its senior management personnel (SMP) to be effective from the new financial year, April 1, 2024. Maruti has changed its management committee with the transfer of CV Raman, Shashank Srivastava, Tarun Aggarwal, Sandeep Raina, and 7 other members.
Maruti Suzuki has transferred CV Raman from the position of Head- Engineering to ‘Member Executive Committee’. Shashank Srivastava is transferred from the position of Head Marketing & Sales to ‘Member Executive Committee’. With this CV Raman and Shashank Srivastava are no longer the SMP members.
The company has transferred Tarun Aggarwal, who is currently Executive officer and Head of Powertrain vertical as the new Head- Engineering for the existing full-time employment. Tarun Aggarwal has been with MSIL for the past 34 years with his expertise in the areas of engineering including Electrical, Connected System, Product planning. Styling and Design.
Sandeep Raina has been designated as Head- Product Planning from the current role of the Executive Vice President and Head of Product Development and Cost & Program Management. He has been with MSIL for over 30 years.
Sandeep Raina, the executive vice president and head of product development and cost & program management, will now become the head of product planning. He has been with MSIL for over 30 years.
The current executive officer in the marketing vertical Ram Suresh Akella, who has been with MSIL for over 31 years, will assume the role of head of service. Salil B Lal has also been moved to the role of head of HR from his current role of executive vice president in the HR vertical and has been with MSIL for over 12 years.
Partho Banerjee, the current Head- Service is now going to be Head- Marketing & Sales. He has been with MSIL, for the past 34 years where he began his career, the company said in its regulatory filings.
Maruti Suzuki’s Head of HR and IT Rajesh Uppal will also be transferred to the Member Executive Committee. He will be replaced by Manoj Gautam, who is currently the executive vice president in the IT vertical. Manoj Gautam is designated as Head Information Technology (IT). He has been with MSIL for over 18 years.
Sunil Kakkar has also been transferred to the position of Head-Supply Chain to Head-Corporate Planning with his current position as Head-Supply Chain with an experience in MSIL, for over 35 years.
Deepak Thukral is designated as Head- Supply Chain, prior to this he was Executive Officer in Supply Chain. Rahul Bharti has now been designated as Head- Corporate Affairs, prior to this role he was Head Corporate Planning. Maruti Suzuki has completely shuffled its senior management personnel after its board meeting to prepare itself for the new financial year growth plans.
