Mahadevan joins TAFE after a distinguished 13-year tenure with Ashok Leyland and the Hinduja Group, where he held leadership responsibilities spanning finance, investor relations, strategy, business development, and mergers & acquisitions.

Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd (TAFE), one of India’s leading tractor manufacturers, has appointed Gopal Mahadevan as Group President – Growth & Mergers & Acquisitions, strengthening its leadership team as the company pursues its next phase of expansion.

Mahadevan joins the Chennai-headquartered farm equipment major after spending 13 years with Ashok Leyland and the Hinduja Group, where he held leadership roles across finance, investor relations, corporate strategy, business development, and mergers and acquisitions.

Announcing his transition through a LinkedIn post, Mahadevan reflected on his tenure at Ashok Leyland, highlighting his involvement in several strategic initiatives and business transformation projects across the commercial vehicle manufacturer and the broader Hinduja Group ecosystem.
