Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has appointed Shalabh Rajvanshi as Deputy CEO of its two-wheeler business in India, reinforcing its commitment to expanding operations in one of the world’s largest two-wheeler markets.
Rajvanshi brings extensive industry experience to the role, having spent nearly two decades at Hero MotoCorp, where he played a key role in developing and scaling the company’s dealer network across India. He later led the vehicle lending vertical at Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company, gaining valuable expertise in retail financing within the mobility sector.
In his new position, Rajvanshi will spearhead efforts to strengthen VinFast’s presence in India by expanding its dealership network, enhancing financing accessibility, building robust after-sales service infrastructure, and fostering partnerships across charging and fleet ecosystems.
Commenting on the evolving electric mobility landscape, Rajvanshi emphasized that India’s EV transition will depend not only on product innovation but also on the strength of distribution, financing, and service networks. VinFast, which continues to expand its global footprint with a strong focus on emerging markets, has identified India as a key strategic market for its two-wheeler growth ambitions.
