Honda Motorcycle sales rise 14.7% to 4.84 lakh units in April 2026; Exports surge 37%

The company attributed its performance to a well-diversified product portfolio and an extensive nationwide sales and service network, which now includes over 7,000 touchpoints. This widespread presence has enabled HMSI to strengthen customer reach and enhance service accessibility across India.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India reported strong sales performance in April 2026, with domestic volumes reaching 4.84 lakh units, marking a 14.7% year-on-year increase compared to 4.22 lakh units in April 2025.

The company’s total sales, including exports, stood at 5.63 lakh units, up 17% from 4.80 lakh units in the same period last year. Export performance remained particularly robust, growing 37.4% year-on-year to 79,600 units, compared to 57,900 units previously.

Commenting on the performance, Tsutsumu Otani, President & CEO, noted that demand across the two-wheeler market continues to remain resilient across segments. He added that the company will maintain agility in responding to market dynamics while focusing on sustainable and consistent growth.

The strong performance was driven by Honda’s diverse product portfolio and its expansive nationwide sales and service network, which now spans over 7,000 touchpoints, enhancing accessibility and customer reach across India.
