Maruti Suzuki records highest-ever domestic sales in July 2026

Maruti Suzuki recorded total sales of 241,421 units in July 2026, including its highest-ever domestic sales of 200,123 units. Strong demand for passenger cars and SUVs drove the company's impressive monthly performance.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited reported total sales of 241,421 units in July 2026, marking another strong month for the country’s largest carmaker. The company achieved its highest-ever domestic sales, retailing 200,123 units in the Indian market during the month.

In addition to its domestic performance, Maruti Suzuki supplied 11,242 units to other OEMs and exported 30,056 units, taking its overall sales for July 2026 to 241,421 units.

Passenger Vehicle Sales Lead Growth

Maruti Suzuki’s domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales stood at 196,203 units, while Super Carry light commercial vehicle (LCV) sales reached 3,920 units, contributing to the record domestic sales figure.

Within the passenger vehicle portfolio:

Mini segment (Alto and S-Presso) recorded 12,634 units, compared to 6,822 units in July 2025.

Compact and Mid-Size segment (Baleno, Celerio, Ciaz, Dzire, Ignis, Swift and WagonR) registered 90,822 units, up from 65,840 units a year ago.

Total Passenger Car sales increased to 103,456 units, compared to 72,662 units in July 2025.

Utility Vehicles including Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris and XL6 posted 78,851 units, up significantly from 52,773 units last year.

Eeco van sales stood at 13,896 units, compared to 12,341 units in July 2025.

Strong Performance During FY2026-27

For the April–July FY2026-27 period, Maruti Suzuki sold 924,145 units, compared to 708,387 units during the corresponding period of FY2025-26.

Domestic passenger vehicle sales reached 721,431 units, while total domestic sales, including LCVs and OEM supplies, stood at 769,353 units. Export volumes also grew to 154,792 units, highlighting the company’s continued focus on international markets.

Maruti Suzuki’s July 2026 performance reflects sustained demand across passenger cars, SUVs, vans and commercial vehicles, reinforcing its leadership in the Indian automotive market.
