Ecozen, a leader in climate-smart technology, announced a strategic investment in Volektra, a pioneer in EV technology. Joined by a consortium of investors including Thinkuvate, Growthfactory and other investors, this partnership marks a significant step towards transforming the electric vehicle landscape globally.
By combining Ecozen’s expertise in advanced motors, controls, IoT, and analytics with Volektra’s groundbreaking magnet-free motor technology (SEEM), the partnership aims to develop highly efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable electric mobility solutions. Unlike traditional EV motors that rely on environmentally harmful rare earth magnets, Volektra’s SEEM technology offers a cleaner, more sustainable, and performance-enhancing alternative. This strategic partnership introduces a new era of electric mobility characterised by high performance, reduced costs, and minimal environmental impact.
“Our magnet-free motor technology (SEEM) eliminates the need to use rare earth minerals,” said Volektra’s Founder and CEO Manish Seth. “This maintains cost-effectiveness and performance and enables better control while contributing to a cleaner environment. We believe Volektra is driving the future of sustainable transportation by providing innovative, affordable, and high-performance EV conversion kits.”
Devendra Gupta, CEO and Co-founder of Ecozen stated, “Ecozen has always been at the forefront of sustainability with our climate-smart technology, impacting millions globally. Our investment in Volektra is a game-changer, merging our technological prowess to redefine electric mobility. By eliminating the reliance on rare-earth magnets, we’re not just enhancing efficiency—we’re leading the charge toward a more sustainable future in transportation.”
“Partnering with Volektra is a strategic move that amplifies our shared vision for sustainable mobility. This collaboration brings together our strengths to push the boundaries of innovation. As Volektra opens doors to new markets, Ecozen’s advanced technologies will drive further breakthroughs. Together, we’re setting the stage for a transformative leap in the future of transportation.”, added Prateek Singhal, COO and Co-founder of Ecozen.
Ecozen’s controllers will be integrated into Volektra’s innovative Vollkits, transforming traditional micro-vehicles into electric powerhouses. These plug-and-play conversion units, featuring Volektra’s proprietary VSAC technology, have already proven successful in the European market with over 20,000 three-wheelers and numerous e-bikes powered by their first-generation drivetrain. By combining Ecozen’s advanced control systems with Volektra’s cutting-edge motor technology, this partnership is poised to redefine the electric vehicle landscape, making sustainable transportation the norm rather than the exception.
