The all-electric Honda 0 SUV prototype made its global public debut in Tokyo, driven by F1 World Champion Max Verstappen at the Red Bull Showrun x Powered by Honda event.
Previously showcased at CES 2025, the SUV is part of Honda’s new 0 Series and will enter production in 2026 at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio.
The event, held ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, also featured F1 drivers Yuki Tsunoda, Liam Lawson, and Isack Hadjar. It celebrated the successful six-year Honda–Red Bull partnership, which includes 63+ F1 wins, four straight Drivers’ Championships for Verstappen (2021–2024), and two Constructors’ titles (2022–2023).
The Honda 0 SUV took part in the demonstration drive wrapped in a striking geometric design symbolizing Honda’s new EV development philosophy: “Thin, Light, and Wise.”
The all-electric SUV was displayed alongside iconic Red Bull Racing F1 cars, including the RB16B, the RB7 in Racing Bulls’ 2025 livery, and the legendary Honda RA272—the first Japanese car to win a Formula 1 Grand Prix, at Mexico in 1965.
Set to be the first production model in Honda’s 0 Series, the SUV is built on an all-new dedicated EV platform. Inspired by the Space-Hub concept from CES 2024, it features a spacious, flexible interior with exceptional visibility, reflecting Honda’s vision of EVs as personal, people-centric spaces.
Like the Honda 0 Saloon, the upcoming Honda 0 SUV will integrate next-gen technologies built around the brand’s “Thin, Light, and Wise” design philosophy. It promises an “ever-advancing” experience through ultra-personalized features and a digital interface powered by Honda’s original ASIMO OS.
The production version of the 0 SUV will be built at Honda’s EV Hub in Ohio, with a North American launch planned for 2026, followed by global rollouts in markets like Japan and Europe.
