KPIT opens new tech center in Sweden to drive mobility innovation and global expansion

KPIT’s first Nordic facility, located in Sweden’s Lindholmen Science Park, strengthens its commitment to European OEMs and the region’s innovation ecosystem. Surrounded by top automakers, universities, and startups, the center supports KPIT’s vision to shape the future of mobility through global collaboration.

KPIT Technologies, a global leader in clean, smart, and safe mobility solutions, has inaugurated its new technology center in Gothenburg, Sweden—marking a key step in its global expansion strategy. This is KPIT’s first facility in the Nordics, reinforcing its commitment to European OEMs and the region’s rich innovation and talent ecosystem. Located within Lindholmen Science Park, a premier hub for automotive and mobility R&D, the center places KPIT at the heart of Sweden’s mobility innovation landscape—surrounded by leading vehicle manufacturers, top academic institutions, and next-gen startups. This move aligns with KPIT’s long-term vision to transform the future of mobility in collaboration with clients, talent, and partners.

The launch event at Lindholmen saw participation from leading Swedish and European automotive OEMs, academic leaders, and representatives from the Government of Sweden, Business Sweden, and other stakeholders — underscoring the importance of collaboration in solving mobility challenges at scale.
