Leapmotor announces the official launch of the B05 Ultra, the new flagship trim of the B05 family, created specifically for young drivers seeking individuality, driving pleasure and premium quality, for the Chinese market. Making its world premiere at the Auto Show, the B05 Ultra brings comprehensive “Ultra” upgrades across styling, handling, intelligence, and comfort, redefining what a fully‑equipped electric sports coupe can deliver at an accessible price point.
Since its launch in late 2025, the Leapmotor B05 has quickly resonated with young consumers in China thanks to its avant‑garde design and agile character, surpassing 20,000 units in cumulative sales within just three months. Building on this success, the arrival of the B05 Ultra further elevates performance and intelligent features, offering an upgraded experience that goes beyond expectations.
Positioned as a “stylish and sporty coupe,” the B05 Ultra retains the B05 model’s core DNA of great looks, great drive, and great quality, while making a decisive leap forward in four key dimensions – design, handling, intelligence, and comfort. Styling and Handling Ultra
The B05 Ultra sets a new benchmark in coupe‑inspired design within its segment, featuring factory‑modified, sport‑focused styling straight from production. Exclusive design elements include an official sports body kit, dedicated sports seats, full matte gunmetal grey badges, and Ultra‑specific letter emblems. A selection of exclusive exterior colours – Thunder Yellow, Starlight Green and Liquid Silver – adds a bold, distinctive, and highly personalized visual identity.
Engineered for the strongest handling performance in its class, the B05 Ultra is powered by a 180 kW rear‑mounted electric motor producing 320 N·m of torque, it delivers 0–100 km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 170 km/h.
An Ultra‑exclusive sports chassis package, incorporating anti‑roll bars, performance shock absorbers, and short springs, is combined with China‑Europe joint sports tuning to ensure precise control and agile response. Hankook performance tires, from the same series used on the Xiaomi YU7, further enhance grip and driving confidence. A balanced 50:50 weight distribution, independent suspension, and 19‑inch wheels contribute to confident handling and braking.
Intelligence Ultra
Built on the LEAP 3.5 Pure Electric Platform, the B05 Ultra introduces segment‑leading intelligent capabilities. The cockpit is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, featuring a 14.6‑inch 2.5K central display and an 8.8‑inch digital instrument cluster.
The vehicle is equipped with Leapmotor Pilot ADAS with 128‑line LiDAR, including City NAP (Navigation Assisted Pilot) for smoother, more effortless urban driving. City NAP will be available nationwide at launch, setting a new benchmark for intelligent driving assistance in the category.
Powertrain and Charging
Offered in China in 500 Ultra and 600 Ultra versions, the B05 Ultra features LFP battery options of 56.2 kWh and 67.1 kWh, delivering up to 600 km CLTC range. With new 800V, available from H2 2026, ultra‑fast charging, the battery can recharge from 30% to 80% in approximately 19 minutes, ensuring everyday convenience alongside sporty performance.

As the first full-size SUV on the flagship D-platform, the Leapmotor D19 is a new full-size luxury electric SUV, built on the advanced LEAP 4.0 High-End Intelligent Architecture.
Available in REEV (range-extended) and pure BEV versions, it offers 6- or 7-seat configurations with a spacious, premium-oriented design.
Measuring over 5.25 meters in length with a 3110 mm wheelbase, the D19 combines generous interior space with flexible cargo capacity, including a front trunk on BEV models.
