Lexus to showcase immersive ‘SPACE’ installation at Milan Design Week 2026

The centerpiece of Lexus’ exhibition is “SPACE,” an immersive installation inspired by the new Lexus LS Concept. The installation presents a 360-degree experience that explores the concept of next-generation mobility and envisions a future where transportation seamlessly connects land, sea, and air.

Lexus will participate in Milan Design Week 2026, showcasing immersive artistic installations that explore the future of mobility and evolving luxury lifestyles.

At the center of the exhibition is “SPACE,” an immersive installation inspired by the new Lexus LS Concept. The installation presents Lexus’ vision of next-generation mobility through a 360-degree experience, imagining a future where transportation seamlessly connects land, sea, and air while redefining the concept of luxury moving spaces.

Alongside the main installation, four creative teams will present experiential works as part of “Discover Together 2026,” a collaborative initiative inspired by the LS Concept. The projects explore new interpretations of personal space and mobility under the theme “Discover Your Space.”

Lexus will stage the global premiere of the “SPACE” installation at Superstudio Più Daylight, located in Milan’s Tortona district, a well-known hub for international creative talent. In total, five installations — including the main exhibit and four collaborative works — will be showcased during the event.

Simon Humphries highlighted that all five works focus on exploring the potential of space. He noted that while the “S” in LS traditionally stood for “Sedan,” it will now represent “Space,” reflecting Lexus’ belief that future luxury vehicles will be defined less by body type and more by the experience and value of the interior environment.

Through this exhibition, Lexus aims to demonstrate how evolving concepts of space, movement, and design can shape future mobility experiences and enrich everyday lifestyles.

The exhibition at Milan Design Week 2026 will run through April 26, 2026.
