On December 21st, NIO Day 2024 took place at Guangzhou’s iconic Haixinsha Asian Games Park, celebrating NIO’s 10th anniversary under the theme “Together & Further.” The event highlighted a decade of technological innovation alongside industry pioneers and attracted over 22,000 attendees, the largest turnout in NIO Day history. For the first time, a City Experience Day followed, open to the public on the second day.
Centered on the theme “Together & Further,” over 1,150 NIO users and talented creators actively contributed to NIO Day 2024. Musician Chang Shilei collaborated with the 2024 NIO Band to compose and perform the event’s theme song, celebrating the spirit of shared journeys through music. Filmmaker Cheng Gong directed a documentary short, also titled “Together & Further,” portraying the decade-long growth of nearly 100 NIO users alongside the brand. Internationally acclaimed illustrator Sua Balac, along with 14 NIO user designers, unveiled “Journey Together,” a stunning illustration scroll that artistically captures NIO’s 10-year journey with its community. Additionally, the User Charity Marketplace featured over 170 stalls set up by NIO users at Haixinsha Asian Games Park, with proceeds donated to the Guangzhou Charity Association, embodying the event’s spirit of unity and giving back.
At NIO Day 2024, the NIO Smart Electric Executive flagship ET9 was officially launched at a price of 788,000 RMB with a limited edition of 999 units of the First Edition available for sale, priced at 818,000 RMB, with delivery in China starting in March, 2025.
