Xiaomi EV has unveiled its first SUV, the Xiaomi YU7. Positioned as a high-performance luxury SUV, the YU7 is designed for independent, confident, and dynamic individuals. Unlike being just a taller version of the Xiaomi SU7, the YU7 is a completely reimagined SUV built from the ground up. While it shares the same evolutionary design language as the SU7, the YU7 stands out with its own bold identity — blending elegant styling, powerful performance, and premium comfort with spacious interior room. Additionally, it incorporates cutting-edge intelligent technology, offering a refreshed experience in design, cabin comfort, safety, and smart features. The Xiaomi YU7 exudes a unique charm that distinguishes it in its segment.
As Xiaomi EV’s second model and first SUV, Xiaomi YU7 inherits the brand’s commitment to “beauty” as a core product gene. While retaining Xiaomi SU7’s family design language and elegant stance, Xiaomi YU7 elevates its luxurious appeal, ensuring it stands out effortlessly in urban landscapes with its extraordinary presence.
The Xiaomi YU7 is a mid-to-large SUV measuring 4999 mm (length) × 1996 mm (width) × 1600 mm (height) with a 3000 mm wheelbase. It reflects the brand’s dedication to perfect proportions, featuring a 3:1 wheel-to-body ratio, a 2.1:1 wheel-to-height ratio, and a 1.25:1 width-to-height ratio, capturing the classic low-slung stance typical of high-performance SUVs. Luxury highlights include an ultra-sleek 1:3 head-to-body ratio and a 680 mm L113 measurement (distance from the front wheel center to the brake pedal), a hallmark of automotive elegance developed over a century. After extensive refinement, the 3.11 ㎡ clamshell aluminum hood (1960 × 1587 mm)—the largest among mass-produced vehicles—is seamlessly integrated into the body. Underneath, a 141-liter electric front trunk offers up to eight different opening modes. Optional 275 mm rear wide tires paired with sporty wheel arches further enhance the SUV’s dynamic and high-performance look.
The Xiaomi YU7 showcases a refined family design with standout features like redesigned “waterdrop headlights” featuring innovative hollowed-out air channels linked to hood vents for enhanced lighting and a sharper, more aggressive look. Its halo taillights have been updated with a cleaner, sculpted design and downward-angled corners that emphasize a muscular rear profile, along with premium ultra-red lighting for superior nighttime visibility. The SUV also introduces an advanced electric-flush door handle system that stays flush with the body for improved aerodynamics and aesthetics, automatically extending as users approach and retracting smoothly after entry, enhancing both convenience and style.
The Xiaomi YU7 features advanced aerodynamic engineering inherited from the SU7, with 10 through-flow air channels, 19 optimized vents, and over 40 airflow refinement zones. Key elements like a hollowed spoiler, an active grille with 100 adjustable louvers, and a seamless clamshell hood contribute to a low drag coefficient of Cd 0.245—boosting CLTC range by 59 km and setting a benchmark among sports SUVs.
It also debuts three vibrant paint options: Emerald Green, Titanium Silver, and Lava Orange. The highlight, Emerald Green, inspired by Colombian emeralds, uses a dual-layer system with ultra-fine aluminum flakes and a translucent pearl coat to create dynamic, light-responsive color shifts, adding depth and luxury to the SUV’s sculpted design.
The Xiaomi YU7’s interior is designed to match its bold exterior, combining spaciousness, luxury, and advanced technology under the “Dual-Zone Surround Luxury Cabin” concept. Central to this is the industry-first Xiaomi HyperVision Panoramic Display, offering a visually sophisticated and immersive tech experience. The cabin features dual zero-gravity front seats and power-adjustable rear seats for top-tier comfort. Thoughtfully designed for space and openness, the interior uses 100% soft-touch materials, eco-conscious finishes, and OEKO-TEX Class 1 certified materials for safety.
