Apollo Tyres Ltd has announced a price reduction across its entire product range in India, effective September 22, 2025, in response to the GST rate cut approved during the 56th GST Council meeting. Fully aligned with recent government reforms, the company is passing on 100% of the tax benefit to customers, ensuring direct and immediate savings for consumers across the country.
The GST Council has reduced the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on new pneumatic tyres from 28% to 18%, and on tractor tyres and tubes from the previous rate to 5%. In line with this policy change, Apollo Tyres will pass on the full benefit of the reduced tax rates directly to its customers.
Rajesh Dahiya, Vice President, Commercial (India, SAARC and Southeast Asia), Apollo Tyres Ltd said, “We welcome the GST Council’s progressive decision, which will bring tangible benefits to both the industry and end-users. In keeping with our commitment to transparency and customer value, we are transferring 100% of the tax benefits to our consumers.”
The revised pricing will be applicable across all product segments, including passenger car tyres, commercial vehicle tyres, agricultural and two-wheeler tyres. This price cut is expected to lower vehicle ownership and operation costs, providing a significant boot to fleet operators, farmers and everyday motorists alike.
The company has already begun working closely with its distribution network to ensure the seamless implementation of the new pricing structure across the country.
