Škoda Auto celebrates production of 100,000th All-Electric Elroq

Škoda Auto has reached a major milestone with the production of the 100,000th Elroq RS in Mamba Green since starting production in early 2025. Built on a highly flexible line at the Mladá Boleslav plant, the facility supports parallel manufacturing of both BEV and ICE models.

Škoda Auto has reached a major production milestone with the rollout of the 100,000th Elroq all-electric compact SUV, just months after production began earlier this year. The landmark vehicle — an Elroq RS finished in Mamba Green — highlights the strong market demand for Škoda’s latest EV.

The Elroq is the first production model to showcase Škoda’s Modern Solid design language and is built on a flexible assembly line alongside the Enyaq and the MQB-based Octavia. This multi-energy manufacturing capability enables Škoda to efficiently produce both electric and ICE models on the same line, supporting rapid response to shifting customer demand.

The Elroq has gained strong traction across Europe, ranking second among the continent’s best-selling BEVs in the first three quarters of 2025, while earning major international accolades including the Red Dot Design Award and the title of ‘German Car of the Year 2026’.

The 100,000-unit milestone reflects the expanding momentum and customer confidence in Škoda’s electric SUV portfolio, encompassing the Elroq and Enyaq.

“Reaching the 100,000-unit milestone for the Elroq in less than a year is a remarkable achievement for our entire team. It reflects meticulous planning, production flexibility, and world-class manufacturing capabilities. The strong customer response reinforces the exceptional quality of vehicles crafted in Mladá Boleslav,” said Andreas Dick, Škoda Auto Board Member for Production and Logistics.

Škoda Elroq: among Europe’s best-selling BEVs
In the first three quarters of 2025, Škoda Auto delivered nearly 120,000 BEVs globally. In Europe, both models ranked in the top ten electric cars, with the Elroq second and the Enyaq sixth. The Elroq is the best-selling BEV in the Czech Republic, Denmark and Slovakia, and ranks among the top three best-selling BEVs in Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Great success for the Elroq in Germany, Škoda’s largest single market
In Germany, Škoda’s largest single market, the Elroq was the best-selling electric vehicle in October, with 3,320 registrations, and it was also Europe’s overall best-selling electric car in April, July and October. The Elroq’s success is reflected not only in strong customer demand but also in a growing list of international awards, including the renowned Red Dot Design Award. Recently, the compact SUV was named ‘German Car of the Year 2026’. A jury of 40 leading German and international journalists first selected five class winners from 80 new vehicles before the Elroq prevailed against its four remaining rivals in the final round. It scored particularly well for quality and environmental characteristics, as well as for its price–performance ratio, handling and drivetrain.
