IDV, the defence and civil protection division of Iveco Group (EXM: IVG), has announced a major contract expansion to supply 658 additional tactical-logistic trucks to the Italian Army. This builds on the original agreement signed in December 2024 for 1,453 vehicles, taking the total order volume to 2,111 advanced military trucks, with deliveries scheduled through 2039.
This strategic contract extension supports the modernisation and renewal of the Italian Army’s tactical-logistic fleet and reinforces its operational readiness and mobility capabilities. The expanded order will include multiple variants from IDV’s latest range of standard military trucks, such as:
- Material transport trucks
- Water and fuel tankers
- Container carriers
- Recovery vehicles
- Heavy-duty towing systems
In addition, IDV will provide comprehensive logistic support, maintenance and operational assistance, ensuring high fleet performance and long-term reliability.
This milestone marks another strong step in IDV’s commitment to enhancing Italy’s land defence capabilities and supporting mission-critical mobility solutions.
