Triumph has revealed the first details of its 2027 Street Triple 798, Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200, alongside the Bonneville T40. The company will release further details of the three motorcycles in stages over the coming months.
The Street Triple receives the most significant changes, including a new 798cc three-cylinder engine, along with major revisions to its chassis and styling. The Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200, meanwhile, receive updates focused on technology and performance.
The biggest change for the Street Triple is the introduction of a new 798cc inline three-cylinder engine, developed alongside Triumph’s involvement in the Moto2 championship. Triumph’s Moto2 engine features a new cylinder head, redesigned valvetrain, revised combustion chamber and higher-flow ports. The company has previously claimed a 6 percent increase in peak power and a 2kg reduction in weight for the Moto2 unit.
The production Street Triple’s engine is expected to share a similar architecture, although Triumph has not yet revealed its complete specifications.
The 2027 Street Triple also gets substantial chassis changes, including a new frame and a chunkier double-sided swingarm. The exhaust has moved to an underbelly layout, while the motorcycle’s familiar bug-eye headlamps have been replaced by perimeter LED units with a central main beam. Triumph has not yet revealed the complete technical specifications or performance figures for the new Street Triple 798.
Both the Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200 will receive increased performance for 2027, along with updated technology. Studio images show front-mounted radar systems on both motorcycles, suggesting the possibility of features such as adaptive cruise control and potentially blind-spot detection. However, Triumph has not yet confirmed the exact functionality of the radar systems. The Tiger 1200 was previously spotted during Sam Sunderland’s round-the-world record attempt.
Both adventure motorcycles also receive updated bodywork while retaining the familiar Tiger design and overall silhouette.
Triumph will reveal the three motorcycles in stages, with the Tiger 1200 scheduled to be unveiled on October 27, 2026, followed by the Street Triple 798 on November 17, 2026, and the Tiger 900 on December 15, 2026.
Full specifications, performance figures, equipment details and other information are expected to be announced alongside each respective reveal.
