
KETO Motors has formalised a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, hosted at Bharat Future City. Under this agreement, the company will establish a cutting-edge electric bus manufacturing facility in Jadcherla with an investment commitment of INR 300 crore.
The new plant will focus on producing 9-metre electric buses and is projected to generate over 2,000 direct jobs within the next three years, boosting the state’s EV ecosystem and contributing to India’s clean mobility transformation.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Telangana. The Telangana Government will extend full support to the project through the TG-iPASS single-window clearance system, ensuring swift access to all statutory and regulatory approvals.
With this strategic collaboration, Telangana further strengthens its position as one of India’s fastest-growing hubs for electric vehicle manufacturing and sustainable mobility innovation.
Welcoming the investment and highlighting the state’s clean mobility vision, Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Telangana, said, “Telangana continues to lead India’s transition to clean mobility by building a strong and future-ready electric vehicle ecosystem. The investment by KETO Motors in Jadcherla strengthens our EV value chain, boosts advanced manufacturing, and creates large-scale employment opportunities for our youth. Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 is a flagship global leadership and innovation forum showcasing Telangana’s vision, industrial strengths, innovation ecosystem, and long term development roadmap. The Summit also features the release of the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision document. The event was held under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy, who has focused on strengthening the state’s industrial growth, innovation-driven development, and progress in sustainable mobility.
The MoU marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between KETO Motors and the Government of Telangana, aimed at advancing the state’s vision for sustainable transportation and fostering innovation in electric mobility. Through this collaboration, both parties will work closely to ensure the successful establishment of the Jadcherla facility and promote India’s domestic EV manufacturing capabilities.
