Skoda Auto India has outlined an aggressive product roadmap for 2026, confirming the launch of four key models spanning multiple segments. The lineup includes the price announcement of the Kushaq facelift in March, the performance-oriented Kodiaq RS in Q2, the Kylaq Sportline+ in Q3, and the highly anticipated Octavia RS towards the end of the year.
The rollout begins with the Skoda Kushaq facelift, which has already been unveiled. The refreshed midsize SUV receives a comprehensive design update, featuring a redesigned front bumper, a revised grille with segmented LED elements inspired by the Kodiaq, and updated headlamps. The side profile is complemented by newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels, while the rear gains connected LED tail-lamps with a light bar and a reworked tailgate.
Inside, the 2026 Kushaq sees a significant upgrade in features. Highlights include a segment-first rear-seat massage function, panoramic sunroof, full LED ambient cabin lighting, front parking sensors, illuminated Skoda lettering at the rear, sequential turn indicators, leatherette upholstery, and ventilated, electrically adjustable front seats. Technology updates include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and six airbags offered as standard. Powertrain options remain unchanged, with 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines paired with a six-speed manual, seven-speed DSG, and a new eight-speed torque converter automatic.
The second major launch for 2026 will be the Skoda Kodiaq RS, scheduled for Q2. The performance-focused SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine tuned to deliver 261 bhp and 400 Nm, mated to a seven-speed DSG. This setup enables a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.3 seconds. The RS treatment adds distinctive red accents, gloss black exterior elements, blacked-out interiors with red contrast stitching, and sportier cabin detailing. The India-spec Kodiaq RS is expected to arrive as a CKD model.
In Q3, Skoda will introduce the Kylaq Sportline+, a sportier iteration of its sub-4m SUV and current volume driver. While mechanicals remain unchanged, with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm, the Sportline+ will focus on visual enhancements and a more dynamic interior and exterior presentation.
Rounding off the year will be the return of the Skoda Octavia RS in Q4. The performance sedan made a strong impact in India following its limited introduction in 2025, where an allocation of just 100 units sold out within minutes. Buoyed by the strong response, Skoda has confirmed that an additional batch of the Octavia RS will be brought to India in late 2026.
