India’s Auto Component and Aftermarket Industry goes global at ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026

India’s auto component and aftermarket industry is quietly entering a global fast lane. With exports rising and localisation deepening, ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026 is set to spotlight India’s transformation into a global automotive sourcing hub.

India’s automotive aftermarket is entering a new phase of growth, powered by policy reforms, rising investments, and rapid adoption of advanced technologies. According to the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), the country’s auto component industry is valued at USD 80.2 billion in FY25, with the automotive aftermarket currently accounting for USD 11.8 billion. The broader component industry is projected to expand to USD 111–200 billion by 2030.

As localisation deepens and export opportunities widen, India’s auto component and aftermarket sectors are increasingly positioning themselves as reliable and competitive partners within global aftermarket value chains.

Reflecting this momentum, ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026, organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India in association with ACMA, will be held from 5–7 February 2026 at Yashobhoomi – the India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi. The event is expected to serve as a key platform for showcasing India’s growing capabilities across components, aftermarket solutions, and future-ready mobility technologies.

Fuelled by initiatives such as Make in India, Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes, and FDI reforms, the automotive aftermarket and auto component industries continue to attract strong investor interest. Industry estimates point to sustained investments driven by capacity expansion, electric mobility, and exports—reinforcing India’s emergence as both a global manufacturing base and an innovation hub for the automotive aftermarket.

The sixth edition of ACMA Automechanika New Delhi, India’s premier international trade fair for the auto component and automotive aftermarket industry, will bring together over 870+ exhibitors, serving as a key convergence platform for OEMs, distributors, garages, fleet operators, service providers and international buyers.

Expressing his outlook, Mr. Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, stated: “As India prioritises quality-led development across sectors, ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026 will showcase how the auto components and aftermarket industry is advancing in sync with global trends. The show will unite visitors and exhibitors in a massive international gathering, converging cutting-edge innovations, sustainable component solutions and clean-fuel ecosystems. Global participants are increasingly drawn to India’s pivotal role in this transition, with organisations showing strong enthusiasm for tech-driven solutions to combat climate change and build a thriving and cleaner future.”

Commenting ahead of the event, Mr. Vinnie Mehta, Director General, Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), said, “India’s automotive aftermarket is moving towards a more structured, quality-driven and globally aligned future. The auto component industry grew by 6.8 percent to (USD 41.2 billion) in the first half of FY26, supported by stable domestic demand, a resilient aftermarket and sustained investments in capacity expansion, localisation and technology upgradation. ACMA Automechanika New Delhi provides an important platform for industry stakeholders to engage with emerging technologies, regulatory developments and global market opportunities.”

The three-day event will feature knowledge sessions and leadership discussions on workshop management, aftermarket services, e-commerce, real-time vehicle monitoring, etc. The expo will showcase innovations across spare parts and components, electronics, diagnostics and repair solutions, workshop equipment, EV chargers, vehicle care, lubricants, digital solutions and services.
