Varroc Engineering appoints Eric Hamon as Chief Technical Officer

Varroc Engineering has named Eric Hamon as Chief Technical Officer. He will lead the company's global R&D, technology strategy and innovation across electrification, connected mobility and software-defined vehicles.

Varroc Engineering Limited has appointed Eric Hamon as its Chief Technical Officer (CTO), effective August 3, 2026, reinforcing the company’s focus on accelerating innovation across electrification, connected mobility and next-generation automotive technologies.

In his new role, Hamon will lead Varroc’s global technology strategy and research & development (R&D) operations. Reporting directly to Arjun Jain, Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer of Business I, he will be responsible for shaping the company’s technology roadmap, optimizing its product portfolio across electrified powertrains and connected vehicle systems, and driving engineering industrialization.

Brings More Than 25 Years of Global Automotive Technology Expertise

Eric Hamon joins Varroc with over 25 years of international experience in automotive engineering and technology leadership. His expertise spans electrification, electrical and electronic (E/E) systems, software-defined vehicles (SDVs), connected mobility, functional safety and automotive cybersecurity.

Before joining Varroc, Hamon served as Director of E-Axle and System Platforms at Valeo E, where he led product strategy and platform development for electric axle technologies, supporting the company’s electrification initiatives.
