Tata AutoComp inaugurates two advanced manufacturing plants in Sanand, Gujarat

Facilities for seating systems and thermal solutions strengthen OEM support and export capabilities

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited, a leading automotive component manufacturer, inaugurated two new state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Sanand, Gujarat, on January 30, 2026. The plants have been set up for its business units—TM Automotive Seating Systems Private Limited and TACO Air International Thermal Systems Private Limited.

With the commissioning of these facilities, Tata AutoComp Systems now operates over eight manufacturing plants in Sanand, marking a significant milestone in its expansion journey. The new plants further reinforce the company’s commitment to supporting the requirements of key OEM customers, including Tata Motors Limited (TML), while also strengthening its export capabilities.

Both the inauguration ceremonies were graced by eminent leaders from Tata Motors Limited and Tata AutoComp Systems Limited, including Mr. Sudhir Chikhle, Chief Purchasing Officer – PV & EV, Tata Motors; Mr. Arvind Goel, Vice Chairman; Mr. Manoj Kolhatkar, MD & CEO; Mr. Sudipta Marjit, CHRO; and Mr. Gaurab Chaudhury, CFO, Tata AutoComp Systems. Also present were Mr. Amit Dey, CEO – TM Automotive Seating Systems Private Limited, and Mr. Buddhiraj Deshmukh, CEO – TACO Air International Thermal Systems Private Limited.
