Isuzu Motors India has introduced the 2026 model year update of the D-Max V-Cross lifestyle pick-up in the country, with prices ranging from ₹25.50 lakh to ₹30.28 lakh (ex-showroom). As part of the update, the company has discontinued the 4×2 variants, making a 4×4 drivetrain standard across the entire range.
The updated model now comes equipped with Shift-on-the-Fly four-wheel drive as standard, along with an auto-locking rear differential offered across all trims to enhance off-road capability.
On the exterior, the pick-up receives subtle styling revisions, including a grille with a black lower element, a redesigned bumper with reduced cladding, and the removal of the faux skid plate. Side body changes include the deletion of black wheel-arch and body cladding, while refreshed 18-inch alloy wheels add to the updated look.
Inside the cabin, the V-Cross features new contrast inserts on the dashboard and door trims. The infotainment system has been upgraded to a larger 10.3-inch touchscreen, replacing the earlier nine-inch unit, and now supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity through platforms developed by Google and Apple Inc. respectively. The top-spec Z Prestige variant additionally gets a roof-mounted eight-speaker sound system. Other feature additions include a 360-degree camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Powering the 2026 D-Max V-Cross is the familiar 1.9-litre diesel engine producing 161 bhp and 360 Nm of torque. Transmission choices continue to include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic gearbox.
With standardised 4×4 capability and enhanced equipment levels across variants, the updated model further strengthens its presence in India’s growing lifestyle pick-up segment.
