Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder gets ₹29,499 Tech Package with HUD, Dash Cam

Available across all variants, this move reflects growing demand for tech-enabled, feature-rich vehicles in India’s urban markets.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced a new Tech Package for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, aimed at enhancing in-cabin comfort, convenience, and safety. Priced at ₹29,499, the package is available across all variants through Toyota dealerships nationwide, allowing customers to upgrade features regardless of trim level.

The Tech Package includes three key additions—ambient lighting, a heads-up display (HUD), and a digital video recorder (dash camera). While the ambient lighting enhances cabin ambience, the HUD projects critical driving information onto the windshield to reduce driver distraction. The dash camera adds an extra layer of safety by continuously recording journeys.

Boosting In-Cabin Experience

The introduction comes as automakers increasingly focus on technology and feature-rich interiors to attract urban buyers in the highly competitive mid-size SUV segment. Since its launch in 2022, the Hyryder has seen strong demand in India, crossing 2 lakh units in cumulative sales.

Positioned as a strong hybrid offering, the Hyryder combines fuel efficiency with lower emissions. The hybrid variant delivers a claimed mileage of 27.97 km/l, with its self-charging system enabling a significant portion of driving in electric mode. It is also available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine under the Neo Drive variant, offered with both manual and automatic transmissions, including an all-wheel-drive option.

Feature-Rich Package for Urban Buyers

The SUV already comes equipped with premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, and a 360-degree camera.

With the new Tech Package, Toyota aims to further enhance the Hyryder’s appeal by offering greater personalisation and technology-led upgrades, catering to the growing demand for connected and feature-packed vehicles in India’s urban mobility space.

The company also continues to provide an extended ownership package, including a standard three-year/100,000 km warranty (extendable up to five years/220,000 km) and an eight-year/160,000 km warranty on the hybrid battery, reinforcing long-term value for customers.
