India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. has introduced a design refresh for the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, further strengthening the scooter’s appeal among young and style-conscious customers. The updated Fascino reflects Yamaha’s continued focus on evolving customer preferences, with a more compact and contemporary silhouette designed to match modern lifestyles and fashion trends.
The refreshed model features a trimmed rear length, giving the scooter a more agile stance and improving manoeuvrability, particularly in urban environments. The design update enhances the scooter’s stylish character while maintaining its practical everyday usability.
A key highlight of the new Fascino is its redesigned rear section, which has been thoughtfully reworked to deliver a more premium and balanced appearance. The sculpted tail section, updated taillights, new flashers, and Yamaha’s distinctive V-shaped iconic taillight design contribute to a sophisticated and modern look.
While retaining the Fascino’s core strengths in performance and fuel efficiency, the updated styling introduces a more refined and contemporary design language, helping the scooter stand out both in motion and at rest. The refresh also includes new decals that further enhance the overall visual appeal.
These design enhancements have been conceptualized and developed in India by Yamaha’s R&D team, based on customer feedback. The update reflects Yamaha’s customer-centric approach and its commitment to delivering design-driven products tailored to the preferences of Indian consumers.

Launched in 2015 as a stylish 110cc unisex scooter with strong fashion appeal for urban commuters, it transitioned in 2019 to a BS6‑compliant 125cc model with Fuel Injection technology, offering improved performance and efficiency. In 2021, the Fascino underwent a major technology upgrade and became Yamaha’s first hybrid scooter, introducing Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology with Power Assist. The evolution continued in 2025 with the introduction of Enhanced Power Assist, advanced Colour TFT instrument cluster, and the Answer Back feature, elevating both performance and connectivity.

The scooter is equipped with telescopic suspension, side stand engine cut‑off, 21‑litre under‑seat storage, E20 fuel compatibility, and several class‑leading convenience features. With a trimmed overall length of 1780 mm, the hybrid system – enhanced by Smart Motor Generator (SMG), Silent Start, Stop & Start System (SSS), and Enhanced Power Assist – delivers stronger acceleration during initial movement, load carrying, and incline climbing while maintaining superior fuel efficiency. Additionally, the premium Fascino S variant is equipped with a Colour TFT Instrument Cluster that enables seamless connectivity features including Turn‑by‑Turn navigation and the Answer Back function.
