FIEM Industries Ltd. has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SATHI IIT Delhi to collaborate on research and development initiatives focused on next-generation automotive lighting technologies.
The partnership aims to drive technology-led innovation in the automotive lighting sector through translational research and stronger industry-academia collaboration. The two organisations will work together on joint R&D programmes designed to address evolving industry requirements and support the co-development of advanced lighting solutions for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
As part of the collaboration, FIEM Industries and SATHI IIT Delhi will also leverage the institute’s advanced characterisation and fabrication facilities to support research activities and product development initiatives.
The MoU was formalised in the presence of Manidipa Banerjee, Sachin Kadam, and Divya Rehani.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen ties between industry and academia while creating a research-driven ecosystem that bridges scientific innovation with real-world industrial applications. Key focus areas under the partnership include automotive lighting technology development, collaborative research projects, and innovation-led product advancement.
