Bosch Limited has appointed Ramesh Ramadurai as an Additional Director and Non-Executive Independent Director on its board for a five-year term, according to a regulatory filing.
The appointment will come into effect from May 21, 2026, and remain valid until May 20, 2031, subject to shareholder approval at the company’s upcoming annual general meeting.
The development follows the completion of the tenure of Dr. Pawan Goenka, who served as an Independent Director on the Bosch board from May 21, 2021, until the close of business hours on May 20, 2026.
In its filing, Bosch acknowledged Dr. Goenka’s contributions during his tenure, with the company stating that the board and management sincerely appreciated his valuable guidance and support over the past five years.
Ramadurai brings more than three decades of leadership experience spanning the industrial, automotive, and manufacturing sectors. During his career at 3M, he held several senior leadership positions across India, the United States, China, and the Philippines, including Business Director for 3M Industrial Business in Asia and Greater China, as well as Managing Director of 3M Philippines.
Before joining 3M, Ramadurai worked with TVS Motor Company, Sundaram Clayton Limited, and Oil and Natural Gas Commission (ONGC).
He currently serves as an Independent Director at Anthem Biosciences and Centum Electronics, and was previously associated with Ashirvad Pipes Pvt Ltd as a Non-Executive Director.
Bosch described Ramadurai as a transformational growth leader with expertise in commercial excellence, go-to-market innovation, and multicultural leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
