Olectra Greentech reports 29% growth in FY26 net profit, achieves record EV deliveries

Olectra Greentech reported a 29% increase in FY26 net profit to ₹179.53 crore, driven by record electric vehicle deliveries, strong revenue growth, and continued expansion of its energy business.

Olectra Greentech Ltd. reported a strong financial performance for FY2025-26, with net profit rising 29% year-on-year to ₹179.53 crore, driven by robust growth in electric bus deliveries and continued momentum in its energy business.

The company’s revenue for the fiscal year increased 28% to ₹2,312.17 crore, compared to ₹1,801.90 crore in FY25. EBITDA grew 27% to ₹352.28 crore from ₹276.32 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) rose 31% to ₹246.14 crore.

Olectra delivered a record 1,280 electric vehicles during FY26, representing a 32% increase over the 972 units delivered in the previous fiscal year. The achievement marks the highest annual EV deliveries in the company’s history. Earnings per share (EPS) also improved by 28% to ₹21.62.

The company maintained strong momentum in the fourth quarter, with revenue increasing 44% year-on-year to ₹644.72 crore. EBITDA surged 82% to ₹106.20 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) jumped 177% to ₹57.39 crore during the quarter.

As of March 31, 2026, Olectra’s cumulative electric vehicle deliveries reached 3,998 units, while its order book stood at 10,161 electric vehicles, providing strong visibility for future growth.

Commenting on the performance, Mahesh Babu, Managing Director, Olectra Greentech, said the company’s growth was driven by strong execution across both mobility and energy businesses, supported by operational efficiency and sustained customer demand. He added that the energy division recorded nearly double the growth achieved in the previous year.
