
Henkel has appointed Pradhyumna Ingle as its new Country President for India, reinforcing the company’s commitment to one of its fastest-growing strategic markets.
Based in Navi Mumbai, Ingle will be responsible for driving Henkel’s growth agenda in India, expanding the company’s market presence, and strengthening innovation across its business segments. He will continue to serve in his existing global roles as Global Head of Infrastructure Protection & Repair and IMEA Head of Manufacturing & Maintenance within Henkel Adhesive Technologies.
The appointment comes at a time when India is witnessing rapid growth across infrastructure, manufacturing, mobility, electronics, energy, and digital technologies, making it an increasingly important market for global businesses.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning India, Asia Pacific, North America, and the Middle East & Africa, Ingle brings extensive expertise in business transformation, growth acceleration, mergers and acquisitions, organizational development, and digital business strategies. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in building high-performance teams and driving sustainable business expansion across diverse markets.
Ingle succeeds S. Sunil Kumar, who has led Henkel India for the past five years. Kumar will transition to Dubai to take on an expanded regional mandate overseeing strategic projects across the India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) region, alongside his current responsibilities as Director of Packaging for IMEA.
Commenting on the appointment, Ashraf Elafifi, President, IMEA, Henkel, said India continues to be a critical growth engine for the company globally. He noted that Ingle’s strong leadership credentials, global experience, and deep understanding of the Indian market make him well-positioned to lead the company’s next phase of growth.
Speaking on his new role, Ingle highlighted India’s ongoing economic and consumer transformation, driven by increasing investments across manufacturing, infrastructure, mobility, electronics, energy, and digital sectors. He emphasized that Henkel aims to leverage its strong portfolio of brands, technologies, and customer partnerships across both Adhesive Technologies and Consumer Brands businesses to capitalize on emerging opportunities and strengthen its market position.
An electronics engineering graduate from Government Engineering College, Ujjain, Ingle also holds an MBA from the Institute of Management Studies, Indore.
