Talbros and Lohum form JV to manufacture recovered Carbon Black in India

Talbros Automotive Components has partnered with Lohum Cleantech to establish Lohum Talbros CarbonTech Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture focused on manufacturing recovered carbon black (rCB), devulcanized rubber and other sustainable recycled materials for the automotive industry.

Talbros Automotive Components Limited has entered into a joint venture with green technology company Lohum Cleantech Private Limited to establish Lohum Talbros CarbonTech Private Limited, a new entity focused on the manufacturing, production, refining and trading of recovered Carbon Black (rCB), devulcanized rubber and other allied by-products.

The partnership aims to combine Lohum’s proprietary resource recovery and recycling technologies with Talbros’ strong relationships across the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) ecosystem to support the development of sustainable materials for the automotive industry.

The joint venture has been structured with a 51:49 equity partnership, with Lohum Cleantech holding a majority stake and Talbros Automotive Components owning the remaining share. The company’s board will comprise five directors, including three nominated by Lohum and two by Talbros. It will commence operations with an initial paid-up equity capital of ₹1 lakh, with Lohum contributing ₹51,000 and Talbros investing ₹49,000.
