
Honda Cars India has announced the price of the all-new Honda ZR-V e, while also commencing customer deliveries of its new flagship SUV in the country. Imported from Japan as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), the ZR-V e is priced at an introductory ₹47.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Honda ZR-V e has achieved cumulative global sales of more than 800,000 units since its introduction in 2022. In India, the company says the first two batches allocated for the market have already been booked following the start of pre-bookings.
Powering the SUV is Honda’s 2.0-litre e Sports Hybrid system, which combines a direct-injection Atkinson-cycle petrol engine with a dual-motor hybrid setup and an e-CVT transmission. The hybrid powertrain produces a combined 184 PS of power and 315 Nm of torque, while delivering a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.80 km/l. Honda also claims the SUV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
Commenting on the commencement of deliveries, Kunal Behl, Vice President – Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India, said the ZR-V e represents the company’s flagship offering in India, showcasing Honda’s latest advancements in strong hybrid technology, design, comfort and safety. He added that the strong response to pre-bookings has been encouraging, with the initial allocations already sold out.
On the outside, the ZR-V features full-LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a contemporary SUV design. Inside, the cabin gets an all-black theme with leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, and wireless smartphone charging.
The SUV also offers practical features including 60:40 split-folding rear seats and up to 1,313 litres of luggage capacity with the rear seats folded. Convenience features include an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, a 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, regenerative braking paddle shifters, a hands-free power tailgate with kick sensor, an electronic parking brake, an auto reverse-tilt passenger-side mirror and an idle-stop system.
Safety equipment includes the Honda SENSING advanced driver assistance suite, featuring Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM). Additional safety features include eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Descent Control, front and rear parking sensors, and Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure.
The Honda ZR-V e will be offered in four exterior colours: Twilight Mist Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Crystal Black Pearl.
Honda is offering the SUV with a 3-year unlimited-kilometre standard warranty, 3 years of complimentary Roadside Assistance, extended warranty coverage of up to 7 years, and Anytime Warranty support extending up to 10 years or 120,000 km. The lithium-ion battery is covered by an 8-year/160,000 km warranty, while hybrid system components are protected for 5 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
