Amit Shukla has been appointed as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at FIAT India Automobiles Private Limited, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career spanning enterprise IT, digital transformation, cybersecurity, manufacturing technology, and business innovation.
In his new role, Amit will be responsible for leading FIAT India’s technology strategy, enterprise applications, cybersecurity framework, and digital transformation initiatives. He will play a pivotal role in driving IT modernization, enhancing operational efficiency, and enabling business growth through technology-led innovation.
With more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology leadership, Amit brings a wealth of expertise in delivering large-scale digital transformation programs across diverse industries.
Before joining FIAT India, Amit served as Vice President – IT (CIO) at Crystal Crop Protection Limited. During his tenure, he led enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, including the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA RISE, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Advanced Warehouse Management, CRM platforms, mobility solutions, and cybersecurity programs. He also strengthened IT governance while improving customer experience through technology-enabled solutions.
Earlier, Amit held the position of Vice President – Information Technology Services at Mankind Pharma Ltd., where he was instrumental in shaping the company’s digital transformation roadmap, focusing on supply chain optimization, financial planning, and enterprise IT strategy.
Prior to that, he served as Group CIO at Kirloskar Brothers Limited, overseeing global IT operations across multiple countries. He led several strategic initiatives involving SAP S/4HANA, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), cloud computing, smart manufacturing, and mobility solutions. Amit also served as Group CIO (Vice President – IT) at RSPL Group, where he successfully drove enterprise-wide technology modernization and global IT strategy.
