Mahindra has released the first teaser of the upcoming BE 6 Sporteq, a new top-spec variant of its electric SUV. The company is expected to officially unveil the new variant at its Independence Day event on August 15.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Gets New Triple-Screen Dashboard
The biggest update to the BE 6 Sporteq is expected to be inside the cabin. The new variant features a redesigned dashboard with a triple-screen setup, comprising three 12.3-inch displays.
The layout includes dedicated screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment functions, along with an additional display. The triple-screen arrangement was first introduced by Mahindra on the XEV 9e and has since been extended to models including the XUV 7XO and XEV 9S.
Triple-Screen Layout Exclusive to BE 6 Sporteq
The new triple-screen dashboard is expected to be exclusive to the range-topping Sporteq variant. Lower variants of the BE 6 will continue with the existing dual-screen dashboard configuration.
This approach gives the Sporteq a more premium cabin while maintaining the current interior layout across the rest of the BE 6 range.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Interior Gets Tan Treatment
The teaser also reveals a revised interior theme, with tan upholstery extending across the seats and parts of the dashboard. The new colour combination is expected to further distinguish the Sporteq from the existing variants.
As of now, no mechanical changes are expected for the BE 6 Sporteq. The variant is likely to retain the existing powertrain and battery options of the BE 6, with the key changes focused on the interior and equipment.
Mahindra is expected to reveal more details about the BE 6 Sporteq on August 15, including its specifications, features and pricing.
