Yokohama India has introduced the GEOLANDAR X-CV range for the growing crossover and premium SUV segment in India. Originally developed for luxury SUVs with wheel sizes above 18 inches, the tyre technology is now being offered from 16-inch wheels onwards.
With 32 planned sizes ranging from 16 to 20 inches, the GEOLANDAR X-CV is set to become one of Yokohama India’s most extensive dedicated tyre ranges for crossover and premium SUVs.
GEOLANDAR X-CV, engineered to address the evolving requirements of motorists, offering a premium and confident driving experience across varied weather conditions along with enhanced durability and long-lasting performance.
The new GEOLANDAR range integrates Yokohama’s latest compound and tread innovations to deliver an exceptional balance of safety, comfort, durability and efficiency. Its advanced Micro Silica technology enhances wet-road grip while reducing rolling resistance for improved driving efficiency. An optimized Asymmetric tread design with specially engineered inner and outer shoulder blocks, improves wet-road traction, steering response and high-speed cornering stability. The four wide circumferential grooves efficiently evacuate water to enhance wet braking performance and hydroplaning resistance, while Yokohama’s proprietary 2D–3D Combination Sipes further improve wet traction and promote even wear for extended tyre life. The incorporation of 5-Pitch Variation Technology minimizes pattern noise, delivering a quieter and more refined in-cabin driving experience.
To meet the performance requirements of today’s crossover and premium SUVs in challenging Indian road conditions, GEOLANDAR X-CV feature a reinforced two-ply sidewall construction and Full Nylon Cover, enhancing durability, high-speed stability.
EV Compatible, the new GEOLANDAR X-CV range, with it’s robust construction is designed to accommodate the higher vehicle weight and instant torque characteristics of EVs, while maintaining durability, extended tyre life and the refined driving performance.

As an inaugural offer, customers can avail of a no-cost EMI option on the newly launched GEOLANDAR X-CV range.
