Kawasaki Z300 revealed in India; Bookings open on October 19

Kawasaki has showcased the Z300 in Bengaluru, with further displays scheduled in Mumbai and Pune on October 18

Kawasaki has unveiled the Z300 in India at an event in Bengaluru, expanding its Z-series street-naked motorcycle lineup. Bookings for the new motorcycle will open on October 19, while its price, variant details and complete specifications are scheduled to be announced on October 20.

The Kawasaki Z300 is powered by the Ninja 300’s 296cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which produces 39hp and 26.1Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.

In terms of styling, the Z300 adopts a street-naked design with cues inspired by the larger Kawasaki Z900. Unlike the fully faired Ninja 300, the Z300 features a wide, upright, single-piece handlebar designed to offer a more relaxed riding position.

The motorcycle also gets a TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, an upgrade over the semi-digital instrument console offered on the Ninja 300.

Kawasaki will offer the Z300 in Green and Black colour options. Following its unveiling in Bengaluru, the motorcycle is scheduled to be displayed in Mumbai and Pune on October 18.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is currently priced at Rs 3.34 lakh, ex-showroom. The Z300’s pricing has not yet been announced, with further details expected on October 20.
