
Minda Corporation reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, with its profit after tax (PAT) more than tripling year-on-year to ₹206 crore, compared with ₹65 crore in Q1 FY26. This represents a 216.92% YoY increase.
The company’s revenue from operations also recorded strong growth, rising 33.18% year-on-year to ₹1,846 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹1,386 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Meanwhile, EBITDA increased 35.89% YoY to ₹212 crore, up from ₹156 crore in Q1 FY26, reflecting continued improvement in the company’s operating performance.
Minda Corporation Strengthens Technology and Order Pipeline
Commenting on the results, Ashok Minda, Chairman and Group CEO, Minda Corporation, said the company strengthened its technology capabilities during the quarter through strategic partnerships while expanding its order pipeline with new business wins.
He added that the company continued to invest in innovation and product development to address the changing requirements of the automotive industry.

Focus on Emerging Mobility Segments
Minda Corporation plans to continue expanding its product portfolio, strengthening customer relationships and increasing its presence across emerging mobility segments.
The company said it will continue investing in technology, product innovation and manufacturing capabilities, while maintaining its focus on operational excellence, premiumisation and sustainable long-term growth.
Minda VAST Consolidation to Strengthen Vehicle Access Business
The company is also proceeding with the consolidation of Minda VAST into Minda Corporation from Q1 FY27. The move is expected to strengthen the company’s presence in the passenger vehicle segment and expand its vehicle access systems portfolio.
The expanded portfolio includes locksets, latches, handles, immobilisers, passive entry systems and power access solutions, further strengthening Minda Corporation’s capabilities in automotive access systems.
The strong Q1 FY27 performance, combined with investments in technology, product development and manufacturing capabilities, positions Minda Corporation to pursue growth opportunities emerging from India’s rapidly evolving automotive and mobility landscape.
